Virginia Canyon Mountain Park is a public open space park owned and operated by the town of Idaho Springs, not the Argo. We sell the ride up; the trail rules are posted at the trailheads and at the top of the Cable Car
You start at 7,655 feet
And the top is over 8,800. Take the climb slower than you would at home, and carry more water than you think you need.
Shared with bikes
Please note that most hiking trails are shared with uphill mountain bikers. Sorry, we know it’s not ideal, and we’re working on more trails.
