Q: How much are tickets?
Our latest ticket prices are on our Plan Your Visit page. Note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Q: Why do you use timed entry?
Timed entry helps us plan and manage a comfortable capacity for all guests visiting the Mighty Argo experience. By spacing out arrivals throughout the day, we can keep wait times low and make your visit smoother and more enjoyable.

And don’t stress, if you arrive a few minutes early or a little late, we’ll still get you on the gondola and up to Miners Point quickly and without issue. We’re here to make your experience easy, fun, and memorable from the moment you arrive.
Q: Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Yes, you can exchange your tickets for a new time or fully refund them right up to your reservation's arrival time, at which point they are no longer refundable or changeable. All refund requests after the reservation time must be made in person or emailed to [email protected] within 30 days of the reservation. We will not honor any refunds after the 30 day window. To change or refund your tickets, please just use the buttons at the bottom of your confirmation receipt sent via email/text. If you still need help with your refund, please email us at [email protected] at least 24 hours before your scheduled entry and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Q: Do I need to print my ticket?
No — you can show your ticket on your phone at the entry gate. You can also just provide your name, email or phone number used in the reservation if you can't find your ticket.
Q: I booked the wrong time for my reservation, can I change it?
Yes, just click the link in your email receipt and follow the instructions there... you can do it yourself, instantly at no cost!
Q: I need to add more people to my reservation, how do I?
Please just do a new order for additional tickets for the same time slot (or if sold out, the next time slot... when you show up we'll still let you enter together).
Q: Is an Argo Mill tour or gold panning included in the price of the Cable Car ticket?
No, you need a separate ticket for the Argo Mill tour or gold panning. You can go to argomilltour.com to purchase tickets.
Q: Do you offer season passes?
We are not currently offering season passes for the cable car or mountain bike transport. We are always exploring new offerings, so sign up for our email list to hear when new options become available.

Hours & Operation

Q: What are your operating hours?
We are open every day. Gates open at 10:00 AM and the last ride up departs at 4:00 PM, with the park closing at 5:00 PM.

Please note: Hours may vary on holidays and during special events. Check our calendar for the most up-to-date information.
Q: Are you open on holidays?
We are typically open on most holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day. We are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Check our calendar for holiday-specific hours.
Q: What happens if it rains?
The cable car operates rain or shine! In the case of lightning or unsafe weather conditions, we may temporarily pause operations. In the rare event we close for the day, all ticket holders will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Your Visit

Q: Where do I park?
We have over 150 parking spots on site with current rates and pricing on our Getting Here Page. The City of Idaho Springs also has parking, with more information on https://www.parkidahosprings.com/. You are also welcome to walk or bike to the site through beautiful Idaho Springs.
Q: Can I bring food and drinks?
We have amazing food and drinks, including beer, wine and spirits, available at the Outpost and Sun & The Moon bar. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Q: How long should I plan for?
With a cable car ride, Argo Mill tours and gold panning, mountain biking, shopping and food and drinks, you can spend as little or as long of a time as you want. We find most people spend 1-2 hours on site depending on your interests. The cable car ride each way is approximately 8-10 minutes, Make sure to give yourself enough time at the top to enjoy the views, explore the trails, grab a snack, and ride back down. You're welcome to stay as long as you like during operating hours.
Q: Are Dogs allowed?
Currently the only pet welcome at the Argo are dogs. For the safety and comfort of all riders, all dogs must remain on a leash that is no longer than 4 feet at all times, including while boarding, during the ride, and at both stations. Owners are responsible and liable for their pet's behavior while on site, along with cleaning up after them. Please keep dogs off the seats and under control throughout your visit.
Q: Can I host a private event?
Absolutely! We offer a wide selection of private events including corporate events, weddings, and birthday parties. Contact us at [email protected] for more information and availability.
Q: How long is the Cable Car ride?
The ride is approximately 8-10 minutes each way.

Biking & Hiking

Q: How much are mountain bike tickets?
Our current pricing can be found on our Plan Your Visit page.
Q: How do you transport mountain bikes up the moutain?
We have 5 of the first North American Doppelmayr bike cabins. They hold up to 8 bikes, with the riders following in the next passenger cabins.
Q: Do you allow Ebikes?
We currently do not allow guests to use our bike cabins to transport Ebikes but are hoping to in the future.

Accessibility

Q: Is The Mighty Argo wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Most of the site is wheelchair accessible. Our cable cars allow for wheelchairs and mobility devices. When you arrive on site, notify our staff as they are ready to assist you.
Q: Are there accessible restrooms?
Yes, accessible restrooms are available at both the top and bottom terminal.
Q: I have a hearing impairment. Will I be able to enjoy the experience?
Absolutely! The ride itself is largely visual — you'll enjoy stunning views of 14,000 foot peaks, the town of Idaho Springs and mountain bikers and hikers enjoying the trailes. Our staff are happy to assist with any questions.
Q: I use a service animal. Are they allowed?
Yes, service animals are welcome. Please ensure your service animal is clearly identified and under control at all times.
Q: Is The Mighty Argo accessible?
Yes! The our entire site is accessible. Our cable cars allow wheelchairs and can accommodate most mobility devices. Miners Point at the top is mostly paved and largely flat. Please see our Accessibility page for full details.
