A fun, new activity in Idaho Springs with the beautiful ride up the cable car overlooking Idaho Springs and nearby mountains. We enjoyed coffee in the restaurant and think it would be lots of fun to be here when there's music on the stage. The staff were so friendly and helpful, including a 4-wheeler ride to the base of the gondola!
A must do! Beautiful views from the gondola ride and on top of the mountain! Staff is so friendly! Add the tour to your visit. Definitely will be back!
We enjoyed the cable car ride and also loved seeing the cyclists going up and down the mountain bike trail along the way. We were disappointed that they would not let us bring a picnic lunch with us to the top - probably because there is a restaurant up there. There is a nice view at the top.
The new gondola is awesome. My brothers and I took our mom, 87 and on oxygen, to the top while I was in town for a visit. We all very much enjoyed the trip to the top and back down, and enjoyed the way we were treated as guests!
Definitely worth your time, amazing lift access, and the trail are the real deal, can push you to your limits no matter your experience....

We went on a whim while in town. The guy behind the desk said there was live music at the top if we wanted to get off, but didn't tell us there was an overlook and a place with food and drinks! Seemed to be all newly built.

This is a great place to take friends and family for an awesome Colorado mountain viewing experience! The bars and snack wagon at the top is a nice touch to be able to sit and relax while enjoying the view.
